My BodyWorks-You Are What You Eat
The students learned more about the skin they are in and how to live life to the fullest by making healthy choices. They were able to test their fitness, explore whole systems, and learn about food for life. Sponsored by Infirmary Health.
Scratch Factory
The Scratch Factory is a Project STE(A)M experience, focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. Activities include parachute building and testing, Airbus Flight Challenge, bridge building, and much more.
IMAX film - Permian Mosters (Life Before the Dinosaurs)
Students stepped back in time 290 million years when bizarre-looking animals dominated life on land and sea. The Permian period ended with the largest extinction Earth ever experienced, which wiped out 90% of all species on the planet. The cause of the end-Permian extinction had baffled scientists for the past 20 years but a recent discovery shed new light on the cause of this catastrophe: global warming.
