Our newly-hired Girls Basketball Coach, Ashley Robinson,  is 31 years old and is originally from Grove Hill, AL.  She began her basketball career playing at Wilson Hall Middle School in the 7th and 8th grade. She then advanced to the varsity team at Clarke County High School.

After high school, she enrolled at Auburn University majoring in Exercise Science. While there, she had the honor of managing the AU Women's Basketball Team. Advancing her knowledge of basketball under some of the top coaches in the Southeastern Conference, she graduated Auburn University with her Bachelors Degree, then entered Physical Therapy Assisting School at South University in Montgomery. She has worked as a PTA for over 7 years and recently achieved her ultimate dream of becoming a coach. She has become the head coach of the same school where she started my basketball career!

Her goal as a head coach of the girls junior varsity team is to return fundamentals to the game and to instill hard work and discipline into the young ladies she is fortunate enough to coach.  She hopes to accomplish this by showing them the 4 D's (Discipline, Determination, Dedication, and Drive) necessary to reach their goals and their potential...and of course, she wants to get some wins in the process!  Welcome home, Coach Robinson!
